Hey, I'm Lynda, a certified Nutritional Therapist, Life & Mindset Coach, Master NLP Practitioner, Breathwork & Meditation Facilitator, Eating Disorders & Obesity Practitioner, & Trauma Informed Coach.

My journey into this world began after a long journey with anorexia and orthorexia. In fact, I spent most of my adult years fearing food & weight gain, leading to me losing my menstrual cycle and thinking kids just weren't on the agenda for me.

But after discovering functional medicine, & bringing my menstrual cycle back, I had also turned my body into a fat burning machine - allowing me to eat more, & restrict less, without gaining weight.

And it's not just me. I've now helped hundreds of other women do the same through my 1:1 programs and Nourished You.

How much weight can I expect to lose with Nourished You?

The weight you lose, & how quickly you lose it, is completely dependent on how much weight you have to lose, & how out of alignment your body is. THIS IS NOT A QUICK FIX PROGRAM. This is not a 21 days to lose a stone program. This is not for you if you want to lose weight for a big event, then are happy to pile all of the weight back on again (plus more). This is a LONG TERM, LASTING WEIGHT LOSS program. That means, results may happen quickly, or they may happen slowly, depending on where your body is, and what needs to happen to heal. Everyone purchasing Nourished You needs to be ok with weight loss potentially taking time. Sometimes, you will notice improvements in energy, cravings, sleep, and your menstrual cycle first (this is a good thing). However, having said that, I've had clients lose a stone in a month, and 30lb in 8 weeks. But that should not be your goal.

What is Nutritional Therapy? 

Nutritional therapy is a form of functional medicine, which teaches the body is inter-connected, & symptoms in one area develop from imbalances elsewhere.
Inside of Nourished You, you are going to learn how to be your own health detective. You'll learn what your signs and symptoms mean, the root cause of them, and how to heal the root cause (rather than put a bandaid over your symptoms so that they keep coming back).
As you bring your body back into a state of optimal health, weight loss will be a beautiful side effect, rather than a calorie restricting chore.

How much time will I need to dedicate to the program

In total there are around 17 hours of trainings in the main program, plus the bonus bundle & breathworks. Each module is broken down into trainings which are 10-20 minutes long (mostly), so you can watch as little or as much as you like each day. You can listen to the audios on walks or when you are driving, you can watch trainings as you are doing your makeup, you can read the transcripts when you are in bed or on public transport… there is really no reason not to be able to consume the content. However, you also have lifetime access to the content so you can move through it at any pace that works for you. 

Do you promote a specific diet in this program? I'm vegan so am not sure it's right for me?

I will support you whatever your nutrition preferences. My approach is always around education - so you understand your body's messages and the nutrients that are needed to heal an imbalance. I will always give plenty of food alternatives that include plant-based and animal-based products.

Is there a strict diet plan I need to follow for the full 12 weeks? I struggle to stick to rigid plans and always end up quitting.

You will never get a diet plan to follow, in a traditional sense, when you work with me. We all like different foods and we all have different imbalances. That's just one of the reasons diets aren't sustainable. This program is about EDUCATING you, so you can make the right nutrition and lifestyle choices for YOU, by understanding your own body, and what it needs to thrive. And being 'strict' definitely isn't going to help you or your body thrive.

I don't have weight to lose, but I am very restrictive with my eating. I just want to feel more relaxed around food. Will this program be suitable for me?

1000%! This has been my experience too so I can completely relate to this feeling and your fears around food and gaining weight. The wonderful thing about this program is, it is centred around education, meaning, once you understand what causes the body to store or burn fat, and you have brought your body back into alignment, you'll start to feel much more relaxed around food as you'll know eating that piece of cake won't make you gain weight.

I am currently on HRT. Is this program suitable for me?

This program has been created to serve pre-menopausal, peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women. We'll be covering everything. So 100% YES!

I recently had a baby. Is this suitable for me?

I highly recommend spending the first 4-6 months postpartum focusing on you and your baby. However, I promote a nourishing your body approach to weight loss, that includes no calorie restriction so it is suitable for postpartum and breastfeeding women.

“I wanted to share what I have learnt/ what has changed for me over the past few months.

Acceptance has been key! I have finally accepted that I cannot hate my body into the shape that I wish it was! And instead of hating it - I am much more accepting and giving myself love and compassion rather than despair and shame that I did before.
